Modelled off the "dutch bathroom calendar," keep it in your bathroom or somewhere else you'll regularly have a few moments to look at it and remember birthdays of people you care about. (I hear it's considered a big deal when you finally get your birthday in pen on a friend's calendar! Don't do it yourself — that's a big faux pas.)
